English: Post Medieval cast copper alloy hooked tag wth a central openwork plate, a hook at one end and an attachement loop at the other. The main plate of the tag is openwork and formed in a reef knot design with two arcs on each edge and a lozenge in the centre, each line is decorated with incised transverse lines giving a rope like look and there are raised pellets at three corners of the lozenge and two raised pellets at the corner closest to the hook. The loop is five sided with curved lines rising from the pellet at one end of the lozenge on the central plate, at the end of the curved lines are straight sides, anged inwards slightly, the ends of which are joined by a straight outer edge. Between the central plate and hook is a raised triple collar on the front, the end of the hok is lost to an old break. The back is flat and the front convex: hook and loop are trapezoid in section with a wider base than front and the lines of the central plate ae D shaped. It is 36.3mm long, 13.5mm wide, 2.5mm thick and weighs 2.01 grams.
