Биография править

Остин Мэст родился в 1972 году[2]. В 2000 году он получил степень доктора философии в Висконсинском университете в Мадисоне[3].

Мэст описал более 170 видов растений[4].

Научная деятельность править

Остин Мэст специализируется на семенных растениях[2]. Его исследования включают в себя темы, находящиеся на стыке эволюции растений, экологии, биогеографии и систематики[3]. Темы текущих исследовательских проектов Остина включают филогенетику, биогеографию и экологическую диверсификацию подсемейства Grevilleoideae, а также наиболее распространённых подсемейств семейства Proteaceae в южном полушарии[3].
