Харипрасад Чаурасия

Пандит Харипрасад Чаурасия (хинди हरिप्रसाद चौरसिया; род. 1 июля 1938 года) — индийский классический музыкант (флейтист) и композитор. Играет на бансури — индийской бамбуковой флейте. Широко известен как классический музыкант и популяризатор индийской музыки. Считается одним из лучших бансуристов современности. Награждён индийскими орденами Падма Бхушан (1992) и Падма Вибхушан (2000), а также премией Академии Сангит Натак как исполнитель инструментальной музыки хиндустани (1983).

Записал большое количество сольных альбомов индийской классической музыки — раги, а также участвовал в различных фьюжн-проектах, играя импровизации на бансури под аккомпанемент гитары, фортепиано и прочих «западных» инструментов. Вместе с композитором Шивкумаром Шарма написал музыку для нескольких болливудских фильмов.
