Примечания
Ayyubid period
Syrian potters, like their counterparts in Iran, developed a version of black‑and‑blue underglaze‑painted ceramics, capitalizing on the properties of stonepaste to provide a white background (copy from : https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/450491)
Interior decoration consists of a hillock with three leaves circumscribed by three concentric circles with contoured fillers in a roundel. The outer-most circle is highlighted by evenly spaced dots (dotted double circle). The cavetto bears a band with two reciprocal vegetal designs, one highlighted with incising, on a ground of dots, commas, and curving lines. The rim is circumscribed by a single band. The exterior has only a single circular band at the middle of the wall. The bowl is painted in black and cobalt blue under a clear colorless glaze with a greenish tint (copy from : Jenkins-Madina, Marilyn. "Ceramics of Ayyubid Syria." In Raqqa Revisited. New York; New Haven: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, 2006. pp. 160, 166-7, 222, ill. MMA45) (color), pp. 169, 173.. )
