Дастин Йеллин (род. 22 июля 1975 года, Лос-Анджелес) — современный художник, живущий и работающий в Бруклине (Нью-Йорк).[1] Основатель некоммерческого культурного центра «Pioneer Works».

Биография править
Дастин родился в 1975 году в Лос-Анджелесе, штат Калифорния. В 1980 году переехал в Теллурид, штат Колорадо. В 1990 году бросил учёбу, чтобы путешествовать и изучать физику. В 1995 году переехал в Нью-Йорк. В 1996—2001 годах экспериментировал с различными техниками, включая масляную краску на холсте, смолу, безвоздушное распыление и коллажи; в 2002 году — первые эксперименты с многослойной смолой. В 2005 переехал в район Ред-Хук в Бруклине, где открыл «Kidd Yellin Gallery» (133 Imlay Street). В 2007 году отправился в Эквадорианскую Амазонию, чтобы снять совместно с фотографом Шарлоттой Кидд документальный фильм о племени Ачуар. В 2011 году купил завод «Pioneer Iron Works» (159 Pioneer Street), впоследствии ставший Центром искусств и инноваций «Pioneer Works» (англ. Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation).[1]
