Date of Death править

  • She gave an interview to Anne Noggle for the 1994 book A Dance with Death: Soviet Airwomen in World War II
  • She was interviewd in 2001
  • According to this source (not the most reliable), she was alive in Riga as of 2007.
  • Her medals were auctioned in 2009 - this is RARELY done by living veterans (usually done by family that inherits them).
  • Published aviation historian Svetlana Chudinova did not list her as among the few living veterans of the women's aviation units in a 2016 VK post
  • Washington Post, as well as all other Russian sources, indicate that the only living member of the women's aviation group, "Aviagroup 122" (the three women's regiments founded by Raskova) is Galina Brok-Beltsova from the dive bomber unit.

Ergo, we can say that we are fairly certain Burdina is not alive anymore (if so she would be over 100 - certainly would merit a birthday announcement article!) and we can safely consider this NOT to be a BLP. From the evidence at present, it appears that she died between in late 2000's, (Maybe 2010's, but probably 2000's), most likely circa 2008 timeframe.--PlanespotterA320 (обс.) 19:11, 30 октября 2020 (UTC)Ответить

Nevermind, it's been determined she died in 2006.--PlanespotterA320 (обс.) 19:36, 28 марта 2021 (UTC)Ответить
