Буддийские и исторические места региона править

Цитирую http://www.gnhc.gov.bt/wp-content/uploads/2011/10thplan/Lhuentse.pdf (разбивка моя):

Lhuentse is a Dzongkhag with a rich history and culture.

  • Khetangbi also known as Jigme Namgyal Naktshang is the ancestral home of the Royal Family.
  • Another place of historical importance is the Naktshang of Khema in Khoma Gewog, which was the private residence of Ashi Tsendu Lhamu, Queen of the First King.

The Dzongkhag is also host to many sacred pilgrimage sites mainly associated with Guru Rinpoche, Khandu Yeshey Tshogyal and Tertoen Pema Lingpa.

  • Some of the notable ones are Singye Dzong
  • and Sangay Lodru in Khoma,
  • Jangcubling,
  • Bayul Khenpajong (hidden place of Guru)
  • and Ney Tsachu in Gangzur Gewog,
  • Aja Ney via Phunyingla in Tsenkhar,
  • Kheni lhagang in Metsho,
  • and Rinchen Bumpa in Kurtoe.
  • The underground castle of the once powerful chieftain, Bangtsho Gyalpo, which is about 3 hours trek from Autsho, can be seen in Tsenkhar Gewog
  • A 137-foot Guru statue which will be built at Takila will be the tallest statue of Guru Rinpochhe in the region.

There are several local festivals and rituals -

  • Chha of Ney,
  • Prew of Jasabi and Tangmachu,
  • Wangshing Rabney of Minjay,
  • and Kharam of Tsenkhar

- which have their own unique traits and special characteristics and are celebrated year round.
