Коверт, Роберт

Роберт Коверт (англ. Robert Coverte) — английский путешественник.

В 1608 году отправился морем вокруг Африки, в 1609 году прибыл в Индию, откуда сухим путём через Афганистан, Персию и Турцию вернулся после многочисленных путешествий.

Он опубликовал: «A true and almost incredible Report of an Englishmen, that travelled by Land through many unknown Kingdoms and Great Cities», перепечатанный в «Collection of Voyages and Travels» (Л., 1745, vol. II).
