Дарбовен, Ханне

Ханне Дарбовен (29 апреля 1941 — 9 марта 2009) — немецкая концептуальная художница. Член Академии искусств (Берлин, 1997), в 1985 и 1994 получала награды в Гамбурге. Известна крупными инсталляциями в жанре минимализма, выполненными из элементов, исписанных от руки цифрами. В 2000 году была основана организация Hanne Darboven Foundation[6], которой с 2012 года принадлежит дом в Рённебурге, где жила художница[7].

Родилась второй из трёх дочерей в семье преуспевающего бизнесмена Цезаря Дарбовена и его жены Кирстен. Семейный бренд кофе Darboven популярен в Германии[8]. После краткого увлечения игрой на пианино, Ханне начала изучать искусство. В 1966—1968 годах жила в Нью-Йорке, причем в первое время в полной изоляции от мира искусства. Затем Ханне вернулась к семье в Гамбург и жила там до конца своих дней, занимаясь искусством[9].

Творчество править

Зимой 1966—1967 годов Дарбовен познакомилась с группой людей, имевших отношение к направлению минимал-арт. С тех пор она начала использовать в своем творчестве комбинации из цифр, а позже — переводить в цифры тексты писателей Генриха Гейне и Жан-Поля Сартра, стараясь передать дух времени.

Первые масштабные инсталляции Ханне создала в 1978 году[10]. С тех пор её произведения часто занимали большие площади. Так, работа Cultural History 1880—1983, (1980—1983) размещалась на 7000 квадратных футах и состояла из почти 1600 элементов[11]. Примером работы Дарбовен в наиболее продуктивный период её деятельности может служить Sunrise / Sunset, New York, NYC, today. Она была создана в 1984 году и состоит из 385 рисунков.

Коллекционер Джузеппе Панца купил несколько работ Ханны Дарбовен.

Выставки править

Работы Дарбовен многократно выставлялись в Германии и вне её. Первая зарубежная выставка Ханны прошла в галерее Art & Project в Амстердаме в Нидерландах в 1970 году. Затем была одновременная выставка в двух нью-йоркских художественных галереях в 1978. Выставлялось состоящее из двух частей произведение Card Index: Filing Cabinet (1975). В 1976 художница приняла решение временно перестать выставляться[12], но затем её выставки продолжились. В Германии работы Дарбовен выставлялись в кёльнской галерее Конрада Фишера.
